Recently, parents with children studying at the Center for National Defense and Security Education - Thai Nguyen University reported that students were suspected of food poisoning during their studies and training.
Accordingly, the incident occurred on the morning of October 14, many students here showed symptoms of abdominal pain and nausea suspected of food poisoning.
According to statistics, 244 students were affected, of which 9 were transferred to A Thai Nguyen Hospital for monitoring.

Information from the Center, Nam Thanh Ha Noi Company Limited is the unit that provides meals for students according to the contract signed in 2019.
After the incident, the unit summoned representatives of this company and related departments to work, analyze the cause and determine responsibility.
On October 21, Mr. Do Trong Vu - Deputy Director of Thai Nguyen Department of Health said that the unit had administratively fined Nam Thanh Ha Noi Company Limited 20 million VND.
Previously, on October 15, the inspection team of the Department of Health coordinated with relevant agencies to conduct an inspection of the dining area, kitchen and food processing site.

The results showed that some processing staff did not wear masks, gloves, or appetizers, and did not ensure food sample storage, making it difficult to determine the cause.
Because they could not take samples for dinner on October 13 for testing because it had been over 24 hours, the authorities suspected that the pigs and sausages (not cooked) in this meal could be the cause of poisoning.
Currently, the Center is waiting for the official conclusion from the authorities to determine the cause.
