On the morning of October 31, Hung Yen province organized the groundbreaking ceremony for the road connecting Thai Binh ward with Pho Hien ward. This is a key traffic project of special significance in completing regional connectivity infrastructure, creating a new economic corridor, promoting the connection of industrial parks and urban areas, contributing to the development of a modern and synchronous urban space.
The project has a total length of about 24.8 km, starting at the intersection between the road to Song Tra Industrial Park and National Highway 10 (in Thai Binh Ward, Hung Yen Province), ending at the beginning of the Luoc River overpass (in Ngu Thien Commune, Hung Yen Province).
The route passes through the localities: Thai Binh ward, Nam Tien Hung, Tien Hung, Hong Minh, Hung Ha, Tien La and Ngu Thien communes. The total investment is more than VND 4,900 billion, of which construction costs are more than VND 3,218 billion, compensation, support and resettlement costs are more than VND 1,035 billion.

Capital is allocated from the central budget, local budgets and other legal capital sources. The project is expected to be implemented in the period of 2025-2028.
The project is divided into two phases: phase 1 (from National Highway 10 intersection to Dong Tu intersection) has a total cost of about VND 3,735 billion; phase 2 (from Dong Tu intersection to the right dike of the Luoc River) has a total cost of about VND 1,192 billion.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Huu Nghia - Secretary of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee - said that at the working session on May 12, 2025 with the Standing Committee of the Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee (old), Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh directed the province to maximize its potential and opportunities, focusing on promoting growth and investment in strategic infrastructure, especially connecting transport infrastructure.
In particular, priority is given to the route connecting the old Thai Binh city area (now Thai Binh ward) with Hung Yen city (now Pho Hien ward) with a scale of 10 lanes, the most optimal route, as straight as possible, to effectively promote the potential and advantages of the new Hung Yen province after the merger.

The road project from Thai Binh ward to Hung Ha commune, connecting with Pho Hien ward, which we started today, is a step to concreteally realize that policy.
The project not only contributes to completing the essential transport infrastructure of the province and the region, meeting the needs of people's travel and goods transportation, but also opens up new development space, creating conditions for the formation of urban, service and industrial parks along the route, strongly attracting investment resources.
This is also a breakthrough in transport infrastructure in the spirit of the Resolution of the 1st Hung Yen Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030" - Mr. Nghia emphasized.
Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Huu Nghia believes that with experience, professional capacity, efforts, close coordination and efficiency of relevant agencies and units; support from the government and people in the project area; The investment project to build a road from Thai Binh ward to Hung Ha commune connecting to Pho Hien ward will be successfully implemented, becoming a typical project, an important highlight in the development of the province's transport infrastructure.
