On the morning of September 2, on National Highway 14C (through Bu Gia Phuc 2 village, Phu Nghia commune), a serious landslide occurred due to prolonged heavy rain, causing mud to overflow onto the road, covering a layer thick from 30 - 50 cm over a length of dozens of meters, making it impossible for vehicles to move.
Upon receiving the report, the Traffic Police force, Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 13 (Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department) mobilized 1 command vehicle, 1 tanker truck and nearly 10 officers and soldiers to quickly arrive at the scene, coordinating with the authorities and local forces to deploy the repair.
The forces have urgently mobilized specialized machinery and tools to clear mud and soil, while organizing traffic flow and regulation, ensuring absolute safety for people and vehicles.
The road has now been gradually opened to traffic, and vehicles can circulate again.
In addition, before that, at around 8:30 p.m. on September 1, Road Traffic Police Team No. 3 (Traffic Police Department of Dong Nai Provincial Police) received an urgent report from Loc Ninh Commune Police about a serious landslide in Loc Thai Hamlet, Loc Ninh Commune, National Highway 13.
Due to prolonged heavy rain, rocks and soil from the hillside in front of Loc Thai Secondary School suddenly slid down, creating a thick layer of mud, causing the road surface to glide dangerously. Many people passing through the area fell, causing injuries.
As soon as the news was received, the working group quickly arrived at the scene, placed warning signs of danger, and diverted traffic; coordinated with the authorities to clear rocks and soil, clear the flow, and wash the road surface to eliminate the risk of slippery conditions.
By 11:40 p.m. the same day, September 1, the entire area had been treated, and traffic was returned to safety.
