Accordingly, the whole province has 6 representative offices for fisheries inspection and control established.
Including: Hon Ro Office, located at Hon Ro Fishing Port; Silver Stone Office, located at Silver Stone Fishing Port; Vinh Luong Office, located at Vinh Luong Fishing Port; Dai Lanh Office, located at Dai Lanh Fishing Port (with a management team at Quang Hoi Fishing Port);
In addition, there is the Dong Hai Office, located at Dong Hai Fishing Port (there is a working group in charge of Dong Hai, Ninh Chu and My Tan ports); Ca Na Office, located at Ca Na Fishing Port.
The offices operate under a part-time regime, organized on the basis of the aquaculture force under the Department of Agriculture and Environment as the presiding force, coordinating with the Provincial Border Guard under the Khanh Hoa Provincial Military Command.
The operating budget of the office system is guaranteed from the state budget, arranged in the annual regular expenditure estimate of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, together with the Provincial Military Command, according to the provisions of the State Budget Law.
The establishment of 6 representative offices for fisheries inspection and control is considered an important step to strengthen the supervision and management of fisheries exploitation activities at fishing ports, contributing to combating illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing, towards sustainable fisheries development in Khanh Hoa.
