On the afternoon of September 28, the People's Committee of Nam Cua Viet commune (Quang Tri province) confirmed that the police force of Nam Cua Viet commune had just supported the search for motorbikes of people swept away by floodwaters.

Previously, at around 1:00 p.m. the same day, Mr. Truong Cong Thang (born in 1985, residing in Van Hoa village, Trieu Binh commune, Quang Tri province) was driving a motorbike to deliver goods. When arriving at Ha Tay market (in Ha Tay village, Nam Cua Viet commune), he was swept away by water with goods.

After receiving the information, the police of Nam Cua Viet commune arrived at the scene and determined that the location of the vehicle was swept quite deep. To avoid the situation of the car drifting away when storm No. 10 affected it, 2 officers of Nam Cua Viet commune police dived to search.

When finding the car in deep water, the police officer dived, used ropes to tie it to the car, and with the support of the forces and people to pull the car to shore.

Thanks to being found in time, the car was not severely damaged and has now been returned to Mr. Thang.
