Thuc Phan Ward is implementing a project to renovate and upgrade the technical infrastructure system of the new urban area resettlement area with a total investment of 60 billion VND from the local budget, expected to be completed in early 2026.
The resettlement area of De Tham ward, invested in since 2008 with an area of about 20 hectares, has seriously degraded after more than 15 years of use.

People in the resettlement area of group 2, Thuc Phan ward (formerly De Tham ward, Cao Bang city) reported to Lao Dong Newspaper about the situation of the main road leading to the resettlement area that has been seriously degraded for many years, causing many difficulties in daily life.
In addition, the resettlement area is also said to lack trees; the lighting and drainage systems no longer meet requirements, affecting traffic safety and urban aesthetics.

Faced with this situation, the People's Committee of Cao Bang province has approved a renovation project to synchronize technical infrastructure with the administrative center, gradually improving the urban appearance and improving the quality of life of the people.
On December 16, a representative of the People's Committee of Thuc Phan Ward (project investor) informed that this renovation project will focus on upgrading 17 roads with a total length of 3.8km; building a sports field combined with community living space; completing a system of trees, lighting, drainage and auxiliary items.

"The locality strives to complete all items in the project by the end of January 2026" - said a representative of Thuc Phan ward.
Economic records at the construction site show that workers and machinery are working busily, a large amount of rock and soil is being dug and compacted to improve the roadbed.
Mr. Trieu Van Sang (Thuc Phan ward) - shared: "The previous road sections were too broken, muddy every time there was heavy rain, and the dust was so much that the people living here suffered a lot".

It is known that during the implementation process, the Thuc Phan ward government organized a meeting with people, clearly informed about possible impacts, and at the same time mobilized people to coordinate in dismantling items encroaching on the sidewalk, creating conditions for construction on schedule.
