On December 12, information from the Cao Bang Provincial Federation of Labor was recently reported at the Headquarters of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the unit reported on the preparation work and submitted documents to the 18th Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Phan Van Anh chaired the meeting. The Cao Bang Provincial Federation of Labor delegation led by Chairman Be Dang Khoa attended and reported on the progress of the congress preparation, scheduled to be held on December 24-25.
According to the report, Cao Bang Trade Union has completed all 8/8 annual targets and 2/3 targets for the 2023-2025 term. Entering the new term, the congress set 9 annual targets, 4 targets by the end of the term and identified 4 breakthroughs in collective bargaining, union member welfare, building grassroots union officials and digital transformation.
The working group of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor reviewed the contents related to the congress program, political reports, propaganda work, celebrations and personnel. The opinions were highly unanimous and suggested that the Provincial Federation of Labor continue to complete the dossier for approval.
Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman Phan Van Anh highly appreciated the preparation of the Cao Bang Labor Federation and suggested continuing to review to ensure the congress took place on schedule and with quality.
The 18th Congress of the Cao Bang Provincial Trade Union is expected to create a new milestone in enhancing the role of the Trade Union organization, caring for the rights of union members and workers, and contributing to the province's sustainable development goals.
