Phu Tho - On September 17, functional forces advised people and tourists to limit travel to Tam Dao mountain tourist area due to the risk of landslides.

Due to the impact of prolonged rain and wind for many days, many landslide points have appeared in the Tam Dao mountain tourist area, Tam Dao village, Tam Dao commune.

Soil and rocks spilled onto the road surface, causing traffic obstruction and affecting some construction projects.

On Kim Dong road, in Tam Dao village, a landslide occurred with a length of about 7m. The volume of soil and rock is estimated at about 50m3, with damage of about 80 million VND.

This location is located on a road with people and vehicles passing by, posing a potential risk of unsafety if not handled and warned in time.

Tam Dao Commune Police were present in the affected areas, organized traffic diversion, traffic guidance and warned people not to go into dangerous places.

Functional forces coordinate to support people to move property to a safe location, clear soil and rocks overflowing onto the road surface.

Faced with the forecast that the weather will continue to develop complicatedly, Tam Dao Commune Police maintained monitoring of areas at risk of landslides, promptly warning and guiding people and tourists to proactively prevent them.

Functional forces recommend limiting movement to Tam Dao mountain tourist area during prolonged heavy rain and strong winds.

People and tourists need to follow instructions when passing through areas at risk of unsafety.
