For about 3 years now, people coming to the Soc Trang City Public Administration Service Center, Soc Trang province (old), now Phu Loi ward, Can Tho city have greatly reduced the situation of queuing to complete procedures as before.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Khanh, a business owner in Soc Trang ward (Can Tho city) said that he often goes to the Center to carry out administrative procedures. By using QR codes to get an online security number at home, his processing time is significantly shortened.
"Previously, I had to wait a long time, sometimes when I was waiting, a customer or partner called to the company, I had to go back and then go back to work. very inconvenient. Now with an online system, everything is more proactive. The advantage is that we can take the initiative in time, go to work right away, and not have to wait as long as before," Mr. Khanh shared.
In fact, Mr. Khanh is not an isolated case. Every day, the Center receives a large number of people coming to do administrative procedures. However, thanks to the application of digital technology, the management, arrangement and service of people here is optimized, saving time and improving service quality.
Mr. Truong Xuan Anh Khoa, Deputy Director of the Public Administration Service Center of Phu Loi Ward, (Can Tho City) informed that the implementation of QR code application in online digital Sequential Catching is an important step in digital transformation. Previously, people had to go to the site to get the number using a mechanical engine, causing time loss and generating paper waste. Now, people can proactively get a number right at home through the Zalo Official Account (OA) of the Ward Committee, integrated with the electronic number-catching system.
Mr. Khoa explained that with just a simple operation of scanning the QR code, entering the full name and phone number, people can remotely register the serial number. The system also displays information on the number of pending documents at each counter, helping people track progress, estimate time and proactively come to work, thereby minimizing waiting time. In particular, in case people are late or miss their number, the staff will still flexibly support the settlement when handling other documents, ensuring the rights of users.
"This application also helps improve transparency, limiting the situation of catching households, jostling or asking for unjustified gifts. All registration information is attached to a personal Zalo, has a specific time and cannot be forged. This is a transparent, clear and safe form of registration," said Mr. Khoa.
Mr. Khoa said that the Center also integrates an electronic administrative procedure publicity board. Instead of having to flip each page of paper like before, people just need to scan the QR code to look up and store information about the necessary procedures on their phone, which is much more convenient.
