Ha Tinh - Heavy rain lasting from the afternoon of October 29 to the afternoon of October 30 caused many roads in Vung Ang ward to be partially flooded, making it difficult to travel.

The road connecting National Highway 12C to Vung Ang 1 Thermal Power Plant was flooded about 50cm deep; The road from National Highway 12C to Truong Lai area (belonging to Truong Yen, Truong Phu, Canh Truong residential groups) and Tay Yen area was flooded nearly 1m, water overflowed into a household and a school.

National Highway 1 through Vung Ang Ward, section Km565+900, was flooded nearly 50cm, causing difficulties for vehicles to travel.

The People's Committee of Vung Ang Ward has directed forces to inspect residential areas along rivers, streams, dykes, lakes and low-lying areas; proactively plan relocation and evacuation when necessary. At the same time, the ward organized the clearance of the flow, handled the project incident and arranged forces to be on duty to operate the flood drainage system.

According to the Ha Tinh Hydrometeorological Station, from the morning of October 30 to the night of October 31, the Northern and Western regions of the province will continue to have moderate to heavy rain, some places will have very heavy rain, with common rainfall of 50100mm, locally over 150mm; the southern coastal plains may reach 200250mm.

The meteorological agency warned of the risk of flooding in low-lying areas and urban areas; at the same time, it said that from November 2-3, the cold air will continue to cause heavy rain, adding the risk of flooding and landslides.
