In Muong Chien and Chieng Mai communes, in recent days, the authorities have coordinated with local authorities to relocate the houses and properties of some households out of areas at risk of serious landslides.

The landslide also caused local congestion on some traffic routes such as National Highway 279D (section through Muong Bu commune), National Highway 4G (section through Ta Co Hydropower Plant), Co Muong inter-village road...

According to the representative of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Son La province, up to now, there are still no accurate statistics on the number of damages caused by floods.
