According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 1:30 PM on February 26, Tuyen Quang reservoir reached a water level of 114.67 m, 120 m lower than the normal water level; total discharge flow through the plant was 308.08 m3/s.
In the Northwest region, Hoa Binh hydropower reservoir recorded the largest water inflow to the reservoir in the country with 1,695 m3/s, the upstream water level reached 112.83 m (117 m lower than the normal water level). The total discharge through the plant was 313 m3/s.
Son La Lake has a water level of 214.59 m, approximately the normal water level (215 m), water inflow to the lake reaches 378 m3/s, total discharge flow is 459 m3/s.
Lai Chau, Ban Chat and Huoi Quang reservoirs all have water levels approaching normal water levels. In which, Huoi Quang reached 369.32 m (normal water level 370 m), inflow to the reservoir 292 m3/s.
In the North Central region, Trung Son reservoir has a water level of 159.23 m (close to the normal water level of 160 m), the inflow and discharge flow to the reservoir are both at 76 m3/s. Khe Bo reservoir recorded a fairly large inflow of 333.6 m3/s, total discharge flow of 95.5 m3/s.
Ban Ve Lake and Quang Tri currently have not generated significant discharge flow.
In the Central region, A Vuong reservoir has a water level of 375.08 m, discharge flow through the plant 38 m3/s; Song Bung 4 discharges 51 m3/s. Song Tranh 2 reservoir has not yet discharged water even though the flow to the reservoir is 5.73 m3/s.
In the Central Highlands region, Ialy Lake maintains a water level of 509.18 m, with a total discharge flow of 30 m3/s. Buon Tua Srah Lake has a discharge flow of 87 m3/s, while Buon Kuop discharges 10.95 m3/s through the spillway dam.
In the Southeast region, Tri An reservoir has a water level of 61.55 m (normal water level of 62 m), water inflow to the reservoir is 150 m3/s but has not been discharged.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the weather forecast for February 26th, the Northern region tonight and tomorrow morning will have showers and scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy rain, from the afternoon the rain will gradually decrease. Cold at night and in the morning.
The Southern region tonight has showers and thunderstorms in some places, tomorrow there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain in some places.
