In 2025, Nam Hong Linh ward created a clear highlight when key economic sectors maintained stability and growth. Budget revenue management was implemented closely, effectively coordinated between the locality and tax authorities; information on investment projects, disbursement progress, and payment of capital sources was provided promptly, contributing to limiting state budget revenue loss. Total budget revenue in the area reached 257.083 million VND, equal to 523% of the assigned plan.
The production value of key economic sectors is estimated at 2,073.07 billion VND. Of which, the industry - construction sector reached about 1,476.47 billion VND, accounting for 67.32%; trade - services reached 496.23 billion VND, accounting for 26.93%; agriculture, forestry - fishery reached 100.38 billion VND, accounting for 5.75%. The economic structure continues to shift towards gradually reducing the proportion of agriculture, rapidly increasing industry and services.
In the early days of Spring 2026, in an exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Ton Quang Ngoc - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of Nam Hong Linh Ward People's Committee - said that construction investment management was implemented synchronously and effectively. After the merger, the ward completed receiving, handing over and managing 6 transitional projects; and at the same time implemented 27 public investment projects approved by the Ward People's Council, focusing on building administrative headquarters, urban embellishment, developing residential area infrastructure, renovating schools, pumping stations and internal field canal systems.
The urban embellishment movement continues to spread with 24 roads registered for asphalt pavement in the period 2025–2026, contributing to improving the urban appearance.
Notably, the ward established the "One-Stop Business" Task Force to promptly remove difficulties in land, procedures and infrastructure; accelerate site clearance for Cong Khanh 2 Industrial Cluster, complete expansion dossiers and promote the establishment of Cong Khanh 3 Industrial Cluster. The goal is to increase the occupancy rate of industrial clusters to an average of over 70%.
In parallel with economic development, administrative reform and digital transformation create clear changes. The rate of online payment records reached 99.94%; records resolved through online public services reached 93.49%. This is proof of the operational efficiency of the government apparatus after the merger, and also reflects the satisfaction of people and businesses.
Stepping into 2026, Nam Hong Linh ward sets a target to increase production value from 11-12%, increase average income per capita to 78 million VND/year, and keep the poverty rate below 1.2%, ensuring social security and a sustainable environment.
With the foundation of 2025 and a clear development roadmap, Nam Hong Linh continues to aim to become a dynamic city at the northern gateway of Ha Tinh.
