2 children in Gia Lai died after falling into a pond while fishing

Gia Lai - Taking a group to a pond near their home to fish, two children in Phu My commune suddenly fell into the pond and drowned, leading to their deaths.

On the afternoon of September 4, the People's Committee of Phu My commune (Gia Lai province) said that the local government and organizations had visited, expressed condolences and supported 8 million VND to 2 families whose young children died from drowning.

Previously, at around 2:00 p.m. on September 3, Vo Phuc H (born 2021, residing in Trung Thanh 1 village, Phu My commune) and his younger brother Vo Phuc L (born 2023) and Tran Tuan Kh (born 2013) went to the pond of a nearby household to fish.

While fishing, L and K suddenly slipped and fell into the pond. Seeing that, H ran back to the reporter. Immediately afterwards, H's mother and grandmother called for help from people around. However, both L and K drowned and died.

The authorities determined the cause of death was drowning and handed over the bodies of L and K to their family for funeral arrangements.
