In recent days, due to the impact of storm No. 10 (Bualoi), the old Ha Giang area (now Tuyen Quang province) has experienced prolonged heavy rain.
Water from upstream caused many streets and residential areas to be deeply submerged, severely affecting hundreds of households.
On October 2, Lao Dong Newspaper's reporter noted that after the water receded, many streets were in a state of disrepair, with thick mud and dirt, and garbage and damaged furniture lying around.

Along the central streets, Ly Thuong Kiet Street (Ha Giang 1 Ward), tables, chairs, beds... are lying around, piled up on both sides of the sidewalk.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hung (Ha Giang 1 ward) said, "That night the water rose very quickly, some places were flooded up to the first floor, we could only evacuate people, and most of the furniture was swept away or flooded, damaged."
Similarly, Ms. Tran Thi Minh also said that when the flood came, her family had to stay up all night to watch the water. When the water receded, the entire house was covered with mud, and daily activities were completely disrupted.
"Many items such as refrigerators, washing machines, and blankets are all broken. Cleaning is very difficult and arduous because the mud after the flood has become thick and mushy," Ms. Minh shared.
Local authorities have mobilized forces to the heavily flooded areas, supporting people in clearing and clearing sewers and environmental sanitation.
Damage statistics and emergency relief work are being implemented to help people stabilize soon.
