Tuy Duc District (Dak Nong) is asking the contractor to speed up the progress and complete the residential stabilization project built in Quang Truc commune.
This is a project to overcome damage caused by natural disasters and landslides in Bu K'Rac and Bu Prang 1A hamlets, Quang Truc commune.
The project is implemented with central budget support to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, with a total investment of 30 billion VND.
Tuy Duc Project Management and Land Fund Development Board (investor) of the project said that the project started on October 18, 2024. As of early December 2024, the project has completed about 30% of the contract volume.
Of which, the leveling project has reached about 70% of the volume, the traffic route 30% of the volume, the domestic water supply 40% of the volume and the electricity supply 20% of the volume. The project has disbursed more than 20.7 billion VND, reaching 69%.
Project implementation encountered difficulties due to widespread rain in Tuy Duc district in November 2024.
Currently, the weather is favorable, the investor is urging the contractor to speed up the progress, completing all 4 above items to 100% before December 31, 2024.
Previously, on December 2, Mr. Le Trong Yen - Vice Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee directly inspected this project. Here, he praised the spirit of drastic participation of the government and investors.
Mr. Le Trong Yen emphasized that the project is very important, demonstrating the concern of the Central and local governments for people affected by natural disasters. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Trong Yen requested Tuy Duc district, the investor, to make efforts to overcome difficulties and speed up the progress to complete the project.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported that in August 2023, due to prolonged heavy rain, a large-scale subsidence incident occurred, affecting the safety of life and property of about 100 households in Quang Truc commune (Tuy Duc district).
After that, Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee also announced a natural disaster emergency in this area. Along with that, Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee also implemented a project to stabilize housing for 100 households in the area affected by natural disasters.
The completed project will contribute to population arrangement and distribution, associated with socio-economic development, and contribute to national defense and security.
