Information from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - Hanoi City Police said that the unit has just issued a fine for a bus driver for not giving way to a priority convoy.
Previously, on the afternoon of November 25, the Patrol Team of the Hanoi Traffic Police Department was tasked with leading the international tourist group from Dam Quang Trung Street to the city center. During the performance of the task, the convoy issued priority signals in accordance with regulations.
At about 15,15 on the same day, when the convoy had traffic police guiding the traffic on Vinh Tuy bridge, the working group discovered a passenger car with license plate 29E-362.46 moving in front.
The task force repeatedly spoke loudly to request the road, but the driver did not comply, affecting the group's activities on a long distance.
In response to the above situation, the task force recorded all images of the violation and notified the local unit to organize verification and handling.
Using professional measures, Road Traffic Police Team No. 5 quickly identified the driver of the passenger bus as Mr. Dinh Tien D (born in 1974, residing in Hanoi) and invited him to the police station for questioning.
At the meeting, driver D admitted his violation. Based on the collected documents, Road Traffic Police Team No. 5 issued a fine to Mr. D for the act of " controlling a car without giving way to a priority vehicle that was giving priority signals to go on duty". The fine for the above behavior is from 68 million VND and 4 points deducted from the Driver's License.

The Traffic Police Department recommends that when traffic participants encounter a priority vehicle giving a signal according to regulations, they must quickly reduce speed, get close to the right side of the road or stop to give way. Absolutely do not deliberately slow or interfere with the operation of priority vehicles.
Complying with regulations not only ensures safety for yourself and those around you but also contributes to supporting the authorities in performing their tasks in a timely manner.
