On the afternoon of March 12, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association of Disabled Youth coordinated with Microsoft Vietnam to organize the program "Digital learning environment" for disabled Vietnamese youth.
Mr. Pham Van Thanh - Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association of Disabled Youth - shared: The 4.0 revolution is taking place globally at an unprecedented scale and speed, the strong development of technology has created many changes in daily life and work.
In the next few years, 65% of current work will be replaced by technology. This is also an opportunity for the young generation with disabilities in Vietnam to access digital training, career guidance, start-ups, online business, and participate in social activities.
Accompanying the world's technology giant Microsoft will help the disabled youth community access and instruct on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot.
Mr. Thanh said that the philosophy of the education policy is "Who knows a lot should teach a lot, who knows a little should teach a little, who does not know should learn". The Association has built a model that gathers a network of leading experts in many different fields such as: AI, Blockchain, Information Security and Safety, Digital content creators, Commentators, Graphic design, Programming, etc.
Experts will train the most basic, practical things, applying them most easily in work and life for young people with disabilities.
"I hope that one day there will be no more disabled street vendors. They can apply AI and digital technology to do business and sell online on social networking platforms" - Mr. Thanh said.

Ms. Nguyen Quynh Tram - General Director of Microsoft Vietnam - said that in nearly 30 years of research on Accessibility, Microsoft Vietnam has drawn a conclusion: People with disabilities are representing one of the largest unused talented workforce in the world.
"Therefore, we need to act more drastically to help them achieve more achievements. We can completely shorten the gap for people with disabilities" - Ms. Nguyen Quynh Tram emphasized.
Also at the launching ceremony, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association of Disabled Youth also launched the "Digital crop education" team, including experts in many fields to support disabled youth in accessing technology, developing digital skills and applying them to work and study.
At the program, experts from Microsoft shared and introduced the Copilot artificial intelligence tool; features and ways to use Copilot to support daily work for people with disabilities, thereby providing detailed instructions on how to use the Copilot artificial intelligence tool.
From here, create opportunities, inspire successful disabled individuals to the community, use technology and Copilot to develop themselves for disabled youth.
