Previously, on the evening of August 1, people passing through Truong Phuoc bridge area (Long Thanh street, Long Phuoc ward, old Thu Duc city) suddenly witnessed a woman driving a motorbike with a HCMC license plate on the bridge and then suddenly jumped into the Tac river.
Immediately after the incident, people immediately reported it to the authorities and tried to find a way to rescue the victims.
Long Phuoc Ward Police and the rescue police team quickly arrived at the scene to conduct the search.
After a period of searching, at around 8:00 a.m. on August 3, the girl's body was discovered in the riverbank area, stuck between a herd of yellow water hyacinth and weeds.
Initially, the authorities identified the victim as a local resident residing in Long Phuoc ward. According to initial information, she showed signs of depression.
The case is currently being further investigated and clarified.
