On October 23, the Criminal Police Department of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police in coordination with Bac Nha Trang Ward Police is determining the identity of the man discovered on Cai Nha Trang River on the same morning.
Previously, on the morning of October 23, Mr. Tran Ngoc Thinh (residing on Son Phuoc Street, Bac Nha Trang Ward, Khanh Hoa) while driving a boat on the Cai River discovered a body floating on the river. After dragging the body to the shore near Xom Bong bridge, Mr. Thinh called the authorities.
The Bac Nha Trang Ward Police were present at the scene and coordinated with the Criminal Police Department of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police to coordinate the investigation of the incident. At noon of the same day, Mr. Luong Van D (born in 1988, residing in Nam Nha Trang ward, Khanh Hoa) arrived at the scene and identified the body.
According to Mr. D, the victim has many similarities with Mr. L.E. H (Malasian nationality) has lived in the same house as Mr. D since October 5, 2025. At around 6:00 a.m. on October 22, Mr. H left his house and has not returned since then.
Khanh Hoa Provincial Police have conducted investigation activities on the scene and examined the body. The authorities then transferred the victim's body to the headquarters of Khanh Hoa General Hospital to serve the work of verifying the identity and clarifying the cause of death.
