The incident was discovered at around 5am on January 11, when people were exercising along the beach in An Duong 2 village, Phu Thuan commune, when they discovered a body drifting ashore.
After discovering the body, people brought it ashore and reported it to local authorities for investigation.
According to the leader of Phu Thuan Commune People's Committee, the victim was a man about 35 years old, identity unknown.
On the morning of January 11, authorities are conducting a forensic examination to investigate and clarify the incident.
