    Phu Tho - The authorities have just discovered and destroyed 112kg of buffalo and cow organs that were leaking water and giving off a foul smell.

    According to the Market Management Department of Phu Tho province, local authorities have just stopped and inspected a truck with license plate: 98C-028.11 driven by Mr. Nguyen Van Minh, residing in Doan Hung town, Doan Hung district, Phu Tho province.

    During the inspection, the authorities discovered 112kg of buffalo and cow organs leaking water on the vehicle, giving off a foul smell, changing color, not meeting veterinary hygiene requirements and food safety for business.

    The driver and also the owner of the vehicle confessed that all of the animal organs were bought floating on the market, without documents proving their origin.

    Therefore, Market Management Team No. 3 administratively fined Mr. Minh for transporting animal products that did not meet the requirements for veterinary hygiene and food safety for business, the fine was 10 million VND. At the same time, the above organs were forced to be destroyed according to regulations.
