On July 2, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Council (PC) held the first session of the 10th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026, right after the merger of administrative boundaries.

At the session, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Council announced the Decision of the National Assembly Standing Committee on appointing personnel to hold key leadership positions.
Accordingly, Ms. Cao Thi Hoai An - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - was appointed to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 term.
Mr. Tran Phu Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Mr. Do Thai Phong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee - were appointed to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.
The Provincial People's Council has also issued Resolutions on the establishment of the Committees of the 10th Provincial People's Council and announced the decision approving the list of Deputy Heads of specialized activities.
Accordingly, Ms. Pham Thi Phuong Hoa holds the position of Head of the Legal Committee; Ms. Phan Thi Ha Phuoc is Head of the Economic - Budget Committee; Mr. Le Van Cuong is Head of the Cultural - Social Committee; Ms. Do Thi Nhu Tinh is Head of the Ethnic Committee.
The session also announced the number and list of delegates of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Council, term X, 2021-2026, with 111 delegates.
The Provincial People's Council has agreed to issue a Resolution to establish the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council, ready to implement activities according to regulations.
The session also reviewed and decided to organize regular sessions, the supervision program of the Provincial People's Council; the application of the People's Council's legal documents and a number of other important contents.
Ms. Cao Thi Hoai An - Chairwoman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Council - emphasized: "With a natural area of over 18,000km2 and a population of over 3.34 million people, Dak Lak has become one of the three largest provinces in the country in terms of geographical scale. The locality has all the conditions to comprehensively develop all fields. Including, marine economy, high-tech industry, metal extraction, oil refining, renewable energy, high-tech agriculture, logistics, green tourism, etc. This is an opportunity to create new momentum and new development space for the province in the next development stage".
The Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Council affirmed that the responsibility placed on each Dak Lak delegate is even greater in this transition period.
With enthusiasm, intelligence and political courage, the delegates will promote their roles and responsibilities before the People, contributing to building a truly "of the people, by the people, for the people" government.
