Through a thorough discussion and discussion process, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee Office and the Phu Yen Provincial People's Committee Office agreed on a merger plan in the direction of streamlining, effectiveness, and efficiency, meeting practical requirements after reorganizing provincial-level administrative units.
Regarding the organization of the apparatus, the two sides agreed to restructure specialized departments according to the principle of arranging units with similar functions and tasks to avoid overlap and overlap. After the merger, the new People's Committee Office will have 12 departments and professional units, ensuring smooth and efficient operation.

Regarding personnel work, the principles of publicity, transparency, and democracy are given top priority by both sides in developing a plan for personnel arrangement and assignment. The selection of cadres will be based on qualifications, capacity, job position and task requirements after the merger. The goal is to ensure long-term solidarity, consensus and stability within the new agency.
Regarding facilities and working conditions, the two sides discussed specifically the plan to use headquarters, equipment, working facilities and other conditions to ensure common operations after the merger.
In particular, the issue of management of records and archival documents is focused on. In the spirit of saving and avoiding waste, the two sides agreed to effectively use existing resources, not invest in spreading, and avoid causing great disruption in the transition process.
The Chief of Office of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee and the Deputy Chief of Office of the Phu Yen Provincial People's Committee both affirmed that the merger of the Provincial People's Committee Office is a necessary step, in line with the model of organizing local government at two levels (provincial and commune levels), eliminating district levels.
The consolidation is also aimed at improving the quality of advising, synthesizing and serving the direction and administration activities of the Provincial People's Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Lak Province after the merger, while ensuring the inheritance, stability and sustainable development in the coming period.
