New milestone for Quang Tri
On October 2, the People's Committee of Quang Tri province coordinated with Sun Group to organize the Launching Ceremony of 3 major projects: Nhat Le Coastal Mixed-use Urban Area, Dong Hoi Central Mixed-use Urban Area and Le Ky River West Mixed-use Urban Area, with a total investment of more than 38 trillion VND. This is an event to celebrate the 1st Quang Tri Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
3 projects with a total area of nearly 780 hectares, considered the largest investment scale ever for the urban sector in Quang Tri. With a prime location, multi-connected infrastructure, combined with unique natural landscapes and diverse utility systems, the projects are expected to become a new driving force for Quang Tri to break through, elevating the level of tourism and settlement brands.

According to the plan, these urban areas are located in strategic locations, adjacent to seas, rivers, urban centers and the bottleneck of the Phong Nha - Vung Chua - Nhat Le tourism triangle. From the projects, it only takes a few minutes to connect to Dong Hoi airport, railway station and the main traffic axes of National Highway 1A and Ho Chi Minh Road, creating convenient conditions for domestic and foreign tourists to access.
The Nhat Le coastal mixed-use urban area has an area of 276 hectares, with an investment capital of more than VND 12,500 billion, located in Nam Trach commune and Dong Thuan ward. With the advantage of Nhat Le coast - one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in Vietnam - and the remote and attractive Quang Phu sand hill, Sun Group aims to develop this place into a unique resort and entertainment destination, exploiting the "little desert" model reminiscent of Dubai.

The Dong Hoi central mixed-use urban area is 212 hectares wide, with an investment capital of nearly VND11,900 billion, located next to Bau Tro lake - the largest natural freshwater lake in Quang Tri. More than 60 hectares of the total area are for trees, parks, and water surface landscapes. The project is oriented to become a model of a sustainable ecological urban area with a harmonious living space system, connected to nature.
The mixed-use urban area on the west side of the Le Ky River has a scale of 291 hectares, with an investment capital of 13,900 billion VND, located on the west bank of the Le Ky River. With rich alluvial terrain and favorable Fengshui elements, the project will be created into a modern urban complex, high-class commercial services, theme parks, cultural - entertainment complexes, inspired by prosperous river cities in the world such as Seoul, Shanghai, Bangkok.
Expectations to spread the heritage land
According to Mr. Dang Minh Truong - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sun Group, the 3 projects in Quang Tri are the next step in the journey of "Beautifying the lands" that the group has pursued for nearly two decades. After the changes in Da Nang, Phu Quoc, Sa Pa, Quang Ninh or Thanh Hoa, Sun Group is dedicated to Quang Tri, with the goal of turning this place into an international-class tourism and settlement destination, contributing to sustainable economic development, Mr. Truong emphasized.

Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province Tran Phong said that the launch of 3 projects with a scale of more than 38 trillion VND by Sun Group is an important turning point, opening up new opportunities for Quang Tri to develop urban areas, tourism and services, aiming to become a new growth pole of the North Central region.

The province is committed to accompanying and creating all favorable conditions for projects to be successfully implemented soon, bringing practical benefits to people and the community.
After the arrangement of administrative units, Quang Tri is entering the development stage with a large land fund, favorable for investment. The presence of Sun Group with 3 projects worth tens of thousands of billions of VND is expected to be a boost, affirming the role of Quang Tri in the East - West, North - South economic corridor, becoming a new growth pole of the North Central region.
