On September 17, at the Provincial Conference Center, the People's Committee of Cao Bang province and Sun Group Group held a signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation on the Ban Gioc Waterfall Tourism Project.
The ceremony was attended by General Luong Tam Quang - Politburo member, Minister of Public Security. On the side of Cao Bang province, there were comrades: Quan Minh Cuong - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Vu Hong Quang - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Le Hai Hoa - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and leaders of departments, branches and sectors.
Representing Sun Group was Mr. Tran Minh Son - Member of the Board of Directors, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and leaders of member units.
According to the memorandum of understanding, Sun Group will coordinate with the province in researching, establishing and adjusting the planning; proposing specific policies and mechanisms; and at the same time studying investment in Ban Gioc Waterfall Tourist Area in Dam Thuy commune.
The goal is to make this place a national and regional tourism focus, a typical model of cross-border tourism, green and smart tourism; linking economic development with resource conservation, ensuring national defense and security, and maintaining border sovereignty.
The project planning is expected to be implemented synchronously and modernly with many types of resorts, entertainment, commercial and community tourism, while honoring the cultural identity of the Tay - Nung.
A representative of Sun Group emphasized that with experience in developing many large-scale projects, the group believes in the unique potential of "Cao Bang water island" - a land rich in landscape, historical and cultural values.
Sun Group is committed to accompanying the locality, contributing to changing the socio-economic landscape of the province with high-class, sustainable tourism projects with their own mark.
Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Minh Cuong affirmed: If the project is successfully implemented, it will be a "golden opportunity" for Cao Bang to break through, turning potential into a driving force for development.
He hopes that Sun Group will invest substantially and effectively, implement at each appropriate stage, and long-term accompany the locality.
The signing ceremony is considered an important first step, opening up new cooperation prospects, contributing to making Cao Bang a bright spot on the domestic and international tourism map.
