On the afternoon of August 3, functional agencies of Dak Lak province were still investigating and clarifying a traffic accident that occurred at the intersection of Y Ngong - 30/4 street, Buon Ma Thuot ward, killing a baby girl on the spot and injuring another person.
According to initial information, at about 8:30 am on the same day, Mr. L.H.V (residing in Phu Xuan commune, Dak Lak province) was driving a tractor-trailer with license plate 47H-096.70, pulling a semi-trailer truck with license plate 47RM-014.27, traveling on Highway 30.4 in the direction from Southern Bus Station to Northern Bus Station.
When arriving at the intersection of Y Ngong street and 30.4 street (Buon Ma Thuot ward), the tractor-trailer collided with a motorbike with license plate 47C1-332.21 driven by Mr. T.A.X, carrying his daughter, baby T.T. V (born 2011), traveling in the same direction.
The accident killed baby V on the spot. Mr. X was injured and taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
After the accident occurred, functional forces were present at the scene to divert traffic, examine, collect information and clarify the cause of the incident.
