Recently, there have been cases of people gathering to trade, vehicles stopping to buy goods, causing obstacles and potential risks to traffic safety, at the foot of Thanh Tri bridge (Long Bien district, Hanoi).
In the face of the above situation, Road Traffic Police Team No. 5 - Hanoi Traffic Police Department has coordinated with Cu Khoi Ward Police (Long Bien District) to increase patrols, control and strictly handle violations.
In reality, in the above area, many vehicles stopped right on the road for motor vehicles to buy goods, causing the vehicles behind to be congested, motorbikes had to encroach on the car lane, posing a potential risk of collision.
On March 17 and 18, the Patrol and Control Team of Road Traffic Police Team No. 5 handled dozens of cases of cars stopping and parking in violation of regulations.

For example, Mr. N.V.T (residing in Yen Thuy district, Hoa Binh province) was driving a car with license plate 30F-945.XX, stopping right in front of a sign prohibiting stopping and parking to buy guava.
When checked, this driver gave the excuse that he only stopped for "a slice", but was still handled by the working group.
Or Mr. P.V.T, the driver of a tractor-trailer with license plate 51C-939.XX (residing in Tu Ky district, Hai Duong province) was also handled when parking his car on the road waiting for his family to buy goods, causing traffic obstruction.
For the above behavior, the drivers will be fined from 800,000 VND - 1 million VND.

According to the authorities, although this area has been separated by a median strip from the residential road, many people still climbed over the railing to gather at the market and set up tents to cover it.
When the authorities patrolled, these people quickly cleared the area. The situation continues to recur when the authorities are absent.
In just 2 days (March 17 and 18), the authorities demolished dozens of pedestals built by people to sell goods. Violators are required to sign a commitment not to continue trading on the traffic corridor, to avoid affecting traffic safety and order on the route.
"In the coming time, the unit will continue to coordinate with the local police to strengthen inspection and handling of violations, ensuring traffic safety and order on the route," informed Captain Vu Cuong - Deputy Captain of Road Traffic Police Team No. 5.
