On October 19, according to information from the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security), people reported via the "hotline" phone number of the Director of the Traffic Police Department about a case of violating traffic safety order posted on the Facebook group "Check Var on the Street" on August 17, 2025.
According to the clip, a truck with license plate 34C-327.xx was traveling on National Highway 5, through Mao Dien Commune, Hai Phong City, carrying people in the trunk of a vehicle in violation of regulations. After receiving the information, the Traffic Police Department transferred the case to the Traffic Police Department - Hai Phong City Police for verification and handling according to regulations.
On October 18, 2025, the Traffic Police Department worked with the driver involved and identified the driver as Mr. Hoang Duc A. (born in 1989, residing in Mao Dien commune, Hai Phong city). Mr. Duc A presented all the documents and admitted to the violation as in the clip.
The Traffic Police Department has drawn up a record of administrative violations against Mr. Hoang Duc A for the act of "carrying people on the vehicle in violation of regulations" according to Point p, Clause 5, Article 6 of Decree No. 168/2024/ND-CP dated December 26, 2024 of the Government, regulating administrative sanctions for violations in the field of road traffic.
According to regulations, drivers are fined 5 million VND and have 6 points deducted from their driving licenses.
The Traffic Police Department recommends that people strictly comply with legal regulations when participating in traffic, while actively detecting and reporting violations to contribute to ensuring traffic order and safety nationwide.
