The operator of the Phu Quoc Express high-speed train from Vung Tau to Con Dao has just announced the temporary suspension of this route until July 25. The suspension is to prevent risks from bad weather caused by the storm.
The train is expected to resume operation on July 26 (Saturday), depending on actual weather conditions.
For passengers who have purchased tickets for affected days, a representative of Phu Quoc Express Express said that they will support refunds or exchange to other days in July and August. If passengers switch to travel on July 26, the ticket price will remain the same, without additional weekend fees.
Similarly, the operator of the Phu Quy Express high-speed train from the center of Ho Chi Minh City to Con Dao also announced a temporary suspension of operation until July 25.
The ship is expected to be restarted on July 26, but will depend on weather developments and will only be deployed after receiving an official announcement from the authorities.
The company recommends that passengers who have purchased tickets should proactively contact to receive support for ticket exchange or refund if they do not continue the journey.
Previously, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee issued an urgent document, requesting departments, branches and localities to deploy response plans to storm No. 3.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism and Saigon Tourism Corporation - One Member Limited is assigned the responsibility of directing the temporary suspension of all cruise ship activities on rivers and sea during dangerous weather, big waves and strong winds.
