Housing support for disadvantaged families
In 2025, the Central Power Corporation will implement a program to support the construction of 70 gratitude houses in 13 provinces and cities in the Central - Central Highlands region.
Of which, in Dak Nong province, there are 5 disadvantaged households in the localities: Gia Nghia, Dak R'lap, Cu cut, Krong No and Dak Mil supported with 70 million VND/house, a total cost of 350 million VND.
The two houses that have just been handed over belong to the family of Mr. Phan Sy Quynh, in Quang Thanh commune, Gia Nghia city and Ms. Tran Thi Oanh, in Tan Binh village, Dak Ru commune, Dak R'lap district.
Both families are poor households, their income mainly depends on hired labor, their children are still young, and they have lived in temporary houses with damaged and leaky plank walls for many years.
Mr. Phan Sy Quynh emotionally shared: "The family's circumstances are very difficult, the house has been degraded for many years but there are no conditions to repair it. Thanks to the support of the electricity industry, my family has a stable place to live, no longer worrying about the rainy and stormy season. This is a source of motivation for us to continue to rise up in life".

Many practical activities
At the handover ceremony, PC Dak Nong also supported each household with an additional 5 million VND to buy essential items such as water purifiers, refrigerators, rice cookers, electric fans, etc. The families expressed their joy and excitement at living in a spacious, clean house.
According to PC Dak Nong, it is expected that the remaining three apartments will be completed and handed over in June 2025.
