Previously, at 20:15 on March 19, fishing vessels with registration numbers DNa 91095 TS and DNa 91282TS were operating a seafood fishing net at sea when their engines and steering wheels were broken, drifting about 36 nautical miles southeast of Son Tra, Da Nang City.
Due to the influence of the monsoon, the weather at sea at this time is very bad, the sea is rough, the Northeast wind is strong at level 5-6, gusting to level 7, communication and access to fishing vessels is very difficult.


Immediately after receiving information from the Navy Command, at 8:00 a.m. on March 20, the Navy Region 3 Command mobilized Ship 368 performing a mission at sea to urgently and mobilely go to the area to organize the search for the fishing boat in distress.
By 10:00 a.m. the same day, Ship 368 had successfully approached ships DNa 91095 TS and DNa 91282TS, 15 nautical miles southeast of Cu Lao Cham Island, Quang Nam Province. Officers and soldiers of Ship 368 quickly deployed a plan to organize towing of fishing boats to shore, currently the health of the fishermen on the two fishing boats in distress is stable
It is expected that at 8:00 a.m. on March 21, Ship 368 will towing ships DNa 91095 TS and DNa 91282TS to Da Nang Military Port.
