Previously, on August 24 and the morning of August 25, Nghi Son ward authorities established many working groups to help households living in unsafe houses, especially coastal houses relocated to safe locations that have been arranged by the locality to take shelter from the storm, which is considered very strong.
On the same morning, the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense of Thanh Hoa province issued a notice requesting people to take measures to ensure safety when there are natural disasters, in which it is noted: Solidarate houses, prune branches, ensure safety before the storm; Reserve food, drinking water, medicine, be ready to respond to the storm; Do not go out on the streets when there are storms, ensure safety for yourself and your family.
The Thanh Hoa Provincial Civil Defense Command recommends that people take measures to ensure safety to respond to storm No. 5 in 2025 (assessed as a strong storm with a high level of natural disaster risk).
People need to pay special attention: Do not leave home from 7:00 a.m. on August 25, 2025 until the storm subsides unless evacuation is mandatory or there is another necessary job;
Do not cross the spillway when there is water flowing through; reinforce houses, prune branches, ensure safety before the storm comes; reserve food, drinking water, medicine, and be ready to respond to the storm.
