On December 3, Permanent Vice Chairman of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Manh Tuan chaired a meeting to assess the situation and progress of the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway Project (phase 1) through Tuyen Quang province.
Accordingly, the project through Tuyen Quang province, 77 km long, is worth VND 8,800 billion. Up to now, the site clearance work has been completed and handed over to the construction unit 100%. Currently, 6/7 construction packages for the road and bridge sections on the route are being implemented. All 6 construction packages have deployed more than 114 construction teams with 1,058 equipment and 1,100 human resources.
Reporting at the meeting, contractors and construction units affirmed that up to now, problems with site clearance and construction materials have been basically resolved. However, the overall progress has not met the set plan due to many objective factors. The units are urging the organization of 3 shifts and 4 teams, striving to open to traffic before December 19.
At the meeting, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Manh Tuan requested departments, branches, investors, and contractors to continue to make the highest efforts for the set goals. At the same time, carefully prepare for the expressway opening ceremony on December 19 according to the direction of the Prime Minister.
