Bad weather conditions have caused serious consequences. Recently, a ferry carrying 14 people sank in Quang Nam, although fortunately there were no casualties, it showed the potential danger. Previously, in Nha Trang, a tourist died after being swept away by a large wave while taking photos near the sea, despite warnings from authorities. In addition, landslides are also becoming more complicated in many localities, causing significant damage to people and property.
Faced with the above situation, the coastal localities of the Central region have continuously issued news updates on the flood situation, warning people to be vigilant. Ships operating in the waters of the South and Central East Sea, Truong Sa and Quang Nam islands need to quickly take measures to avoid strong winds and high waves. People should absolutely not be subjective or negligent in the face of weather warnings.
To ensure safety, people should limit travel to coastal areas during bad weather. Water activities should be suspended. Water vehicles should be thoroughly inspected before operating, ensuring adequate life-saving equipment.
