More than 5 km of road through super wards in Dong Nai province opened to traffic before Tet

Dong Nai - More than 5 km of the central road of Bien Hoa City (now Tran Bien ward) is expected to be technically opened to traffic before the Lunar New Year.

On December 28, in an exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of the Dong Nai Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board said: The project to build the central road of Bien Hoa City (now Tran Bien ward, Dong Nai province) will be technically opened to traffic before the Lunar New Year 2026.

The project to build the central road of Bien Hoa City, the section from Vo Thi Sau street to Dang Van Tron street, is one of the key infrastructure projects of the locality, started in 2022 and has a total investment of more than 1,500 billion VND.

The project is more than 5.4 km long and divided into 2 branches. Branch 1 has its starting point intersecting with Vo Thi Sau street, the ending point intersecting with Dang Van Tron street (at the An Hao bridge intersection) about 3,726.6 m long, building 2 new Thong Nhat and Vam Ong An bridges.

Branch 2 has its starting point at the roundabout intersecting with branch 1 in Hiep Hoa ward, the ending point intersecting with Dang Van Tron street (at the intersection at the beginning of Buu Hoa bridge), about 1,725 m long.

According to Lao Dong Newspaper reporters' records, the central road of Bien Hoa City is taking shape, the construction unit is carrying out asphalt paving, construction of sidewalk items, medians, planting trees...

The Thong Nhat bridge item connecting the two banks of the Cai River has completed the concrete part of the bridge deck, the contractor is deploying the construction of expansion joints and installing bridge railings, and constructing the access road...

The project is implementing 5 main construction packages including: Package No. 7 construction of the route - drainage section of branch 2; Package No. 9 construction of the route - drainage section of branch 1; Package No. 11 construction of the Thong Nhat bridge section and road 2 at the bridgehead; Package No. 13 construction of the Vam Ong An bridge section, bridgehead road and package No. 15 construction of the route - drainage section of branch 1.

The project construction site has been handed over to 396 households/33.38ha, reaching 100% of the area.

The Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board and the supervision consulting unit continue to focus on urging construction contractors to focus manpower, equipment, materials and deploy overtime construction to accelerate the project progress according to the set plan.

Tran Bien ward, Dong Nai province, after merging Buu Long, Quang Vinh, Trung Dung, Thong Nhat, Hiep Hoa and An Binh wards from July 1st, is considered one of the "super wards" of the country with a population of about 200,000 people.
