The Nam Dinh Provincial General Hospital construction investment project (formerly the Nam Dinh Provincial General Hospital construction investment project with a scale of 700 beds) started construction in 2006. Previously, the project had basically completed the structure of the main works, but for various reasons the project had been suspended since 2012. After a long period of suspension, in 2021, the project was restarted.


Mr. Tran Duy Tuan - Project Management Director of Nam Dinh General Hospital - said that up to now, the project has reached about 95% progress. In which, the No. 1 house project, the basic implementation volume has reached 100% of the contract value. The items of houses 2, 3, 6 are installing some technical systems. Outdoor technical infrastructure such as: yard, road, parking lot, scenic area, lake, green tree, transformer station and transformer; wastewater treatment; gates, surrounding walls, and permanent houses are also being implemented. Currently, to ensure the workload meets the schedule, the project has about 350 workers working.


The project is implemented on a land area of 9.25 hectares in Loc Ha ward (Nam Dinh city), designed with a scale of 700 beds, including departments and rooms according to the standards of the Provincial General Hospital.
According to the Nam Dinh Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, Nam Dinh General Hospital is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2025 and when put into operation, it will help improve and develop the local health sector. At the same time, it attracts human resources of doctors and nurses with better expertise to serve and care for people's health.
