On February 6, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Quang Nam Province Police said that they had found the body of a drowning victim in the Thu Bon River area, through Duy Phuoc Commune, Duy Xuyen District, Quang Nam Province.
The victim was P.P.T (17 years old, in Go Noi, Tay An village, Dien Phong commune, Dien Ban town, Quang Nam).
Previously, after receiving a missing person report from the victim's family, the authorities verified through security cameras and determined that P.P.T had jumped off Duy Phuoc - Cam Kim bridge to commit suicide at around 0:10 a.m. on February 5.
The day before, after 6 days of searching, the Cua Dai Border Guard Station, Hoi An, in coordination with the SOS Quang Nam force, recovered the body of the victim V.D.P (21 years old, in Binh Trung commune, Thang Binh district, Quang Nam) who jumped off Cua Dai bridge to commit suicide on the 2nd day of Tet.
The bodies of the two victims have been identified by authorities and handed over to their families for funeral arrangements.
