Regarding press reports related to suspected dirty, poor quality meat being put into school kitchens, on the afternoon of January 28, in an exchange with Lao Dong Newspaper, Assoc. Underpass at the 3,400 billion VND intersection running at a sprint speed day and night to reach the finish line
With a total investment of more than 3,400 billion VND, An Phu intersection is a key project at the eastern gateway of Ho Chi Minh City. Currently, the HC1-02 underpass item has reached more than 90% of the volume, and the construction site is lit day and night to be ready for traffic on January 31, 2026.

After the first phase of the 2025-2026 school year education official recruitment, Ho Chi Minh City is still short of teachers at many levels of education, especially at the secondary school level and subjects of Literature, History - Geography, Fine Arts, Music.
Faced with this reality, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training (GDDT) has announced additional recruitment of 1,418 teachers from candidates who participated in the first phase but failed. Tanker truck fire, accompanied by smoke and flames tens of meters high in Ho Chi Minh City
At about 11:15 am on January 28, a tanker truck carrying liquids (unclear type) was traveling on Duong Cat Loi street, Nha Be commune, Ho Chi Minh City when it suddenly caught fire. In just a few minutes, a large fire engulfed all vehicles, accompanied by loud explosions and black smoke columns rising tens of meters high.
