Binh Trieu 1 Bridge reopens to traffic after lifting clearance
The project to raise the clearance of Binh Trieu 1 bridge on National Highway 13, the section connecting Binh Thanh ward with Hiep Binh ward, has been completed after more than two months of temporary suspension of automobile traffic. According to the announcement of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction, from November 23, Binh Trieu 1 Bridge will reopen to one-way traffic from National Highway 13 towards Thu Duc City (formerly), while Binh Trieu 2 Bridge will continue to operate in the opposite direction.
The project has a total investment of 133 billion VND, a length of 554 m and has been raised by more than 1 m of clearance to ensure traffic on the Saigon River as well as increase road traffic capacity.
