In late July, traveling along Provincial Road 162 through the new Tang Loong commune, Lao Cai province, it is not difficult to see a large construction site gradually appearing here.
According to observations, the houses have appeared, the overall site is being accelerated.
At the construction site, workers and many machines are busy working to achieve the set completion target.

This is a project for an industrial and hazardous waste treatment plant with a land area of 46 hectares, with a total investment of 454 billion VND.
The plant has 22 items of equipment for treatment such as: solid waste incinerator system; Haunted waste incinerator system; Oil and waste oil and oil recycling system; Industrial and hazardous wastewater treatment system; plastic waste treatment and recycling system and some other processing and recycling items.
The total annual processing capacity after operation is 320,000 tons.

The project to build an industrial waste and hazardous waste treatment plant is invested by Viet Son Green Environmental Treatment Service Joint Stock Company. The plant uses heating technology to reduce emissions and waste to the soil and water environment.
The project is divided into 2 phases: Phase 1, with a processing capacity of 828 tons/day, equivalent to a capacity of about 250,000 tons/year, started in May 2024, expected to be put into operation in July 2026.
Phase 2, with a capacity of 235 tons/day, equivalent to a processing capacity of about 70,000 tons/year, is expected to be completed and put into operation in April 2027.

According to the investor's commitment, the unit will put the plant into operation in phase I by the end of 2025.
According to information from Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee, when the project is officially put into operation, it will create jobs for about 300 workers; especially local workers, contributing to increasing income and building new rural areas.
Along with that, it will reduce the cost of transportation and waste treatment for businesses in Tang Loong Industrial Park.

At the same time, it is possible to treat household waste, industrial solid waste, hazardous waste and other waste in surrounding localities and neighboring areas...
According to Mr. Vu Trong Long, Project Director of Viet Son Green Environmental Treatment Service Joint Stock Company, up to this point, the unit has implemented 75% - 77% of the project. The site of the workshops has basically been completed and machinery and equipment contracts are being implemented, so that the project can soon go into operation.
