Propaganda, raising awareness for people
Immediately after implementing the two-level local government model, the People's Committee of Buon Don commune (Dak Lak province) directed the Department of Culture - Society to coordinate with relevant units to deploy communication work on vocational training for rural workers.
This move is implemented in the context of local economic restructuring and need to improve labor productivity. Vocational training has become an important task to develop human resources, create sustainable jobs and reduce poverty.

Buon Don commune has a large area and scattered population; many ethnic minorities live in remote areas, causing many challenges in bringing information to each household. Therefore, developing multi-modal communication is an urgent requirement.
Ms. H' Nieu Bya (residing in Buon Don commune) shared that before participating in a livestock training class in October 2025, women in the village were propagandized and mobilized many times by the government.
"People go to school without having to pay but are also supported with training under the trainee regime. In addition, after finishing school, disadvantaged households are also supported with loans for economic development. Seeing that vocational training classes bring many values, the number of people attending is quite large" - Ms. H' Nieu Bya shared more.

In the fourth quarter of 2025, when implementing vocational training classes, the Center for Vocational Education - Continuing Education of Buon Don has integrated propaganda to help people understand the significance of vocational training in poverty reduction. Thereby, contributing to improving the quality of rural labor.
When realizing the practical benefits of vocational training classes, students often proactively pass on word of mouth to others in the village and hamlet. Thanks to that, the next vocational classes are deployed more smoothly and create a strong spillover effect.

Focus on improving quality
In recent times, communication activities have played a key role, helping people in Buon Don commune easily access information, understand the benefits and proactively participate in vocational training programs.
Communication about vocational training not only disseminates the State's policies and guidelines but also creates motivation and strengthens the trust of workers to boldly participate.
Thereby, the locality completes the socio-economic development targets of ethnic minority areas for the period 2025-2030.

Mr. Le Thanh Son - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Buon Don commune - said that the locality has a large population of working age. Of which, ethnic minorities account for 70%.
When people clearly see vocational training associated with stable income, effective production models or labor export opportunities, they will be more proactive in participating.
In addition, the commune is also researching the linkage of vocational training institutions with enterprises and cooperatives to ensure output for students. This is an important factor in creating trust and encouraging workers to participate.
