Continuing the program of the second session, the People's Council of Vinh Long province, term X, 2021-2026, on the afternoon of July 30, held a discussion session to explain many important contents.
Accordingly, delegates gave their opinions on traffic infrastructure and household safety such as recommending speeding up the implementation of procedures to soon start the construction of the Dinh Khao bridge project and the approach roads at both ends of the bridge; proposing to complete the service road and residential road of the My Thuan - Can Tho expressway.
Regarding the opinions of the delegates, Mr. Duong Van Phuc, Director of the Department of Construction of Vinh Long province, said that the Dinh Khao bridge project is a group A project, a level I traffic project.
The goal is to complete National Highway 57, overcome traffic congestion in Dinh Khao ferry, and promote the development of the Mekong Delta.
The total estimated investment is VND 2,761.143 billion. The capital of investors and project enterprises accounts for about 51.2% (VND 1,352 billion), the State capital is about 48.8% (VND 1,409 billion). Next week, the Department of Construction will submit for approval the Dinh Khao bridge feasibility project.
For the My Thuan - Can Tho Expressway Residential Road Project: The Department of Construction has reported to the People's Committee of Vinh Long Province on accelerating the disbursement of site clearance capital for the additional items of the Intersection with Vo Van Kiet Street and the Residential Road System along the route of the My Thuan - Can Tho Expressway Project, phase 1.
The project is qualified to carry out land acquisition procedures. The scale of the residential access road section through Vinh Long province is 3.5m.
"The Department of Construction recommends that the Provincial People's Committee direct the Tan Ngai Ward People's Committee to urgently establish a Compensation and Resettlement Support Council and coordinate with relevant units to carry out land acquisition procedures," the Department Director added.
