On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day, officers and soldiers of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command organized many profound and practical "repayment" activities in the localities where the unit is located.
This is an opportunity to express affection, responsibility and deep gratitude to those who sacrificed for the cause of national liberation and national defense.
In a series of meaningful activities, on the evening of July 26, officers and soldiers of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to organize a Candle-burning ceremony at Phu Quoc Martyrs' Cemetery. The gratitude candle lit on each martyr's grave is a sacred symbol of gratitude, demonstrating the continuation of the tradition of drinking water reminiscent of the Vietnamese people.

Previously, officers and soldiers of Coast Guard Region 4 simultaneously launched a general cleaning, repair and renovation of Phu Quoc Prison, Nam Can Martyrs' Cemetery and martyrs' memorial areas. In addition, working groups of the Command of the Region also organized incense offerings and flower offerings at Phu Quoc Prison and martyrs cemeteries in Phu Quoc (An Giang) and Nam Can (Ca Mau), in memory of the great gratitude of the heroic martyrs.
The Regional Command presented 15 gifts (each worth 1 million VND) to families with preferential policies and people with meritorious services to the revolution in the area. The gifts, although small in material aspects, are a heart, a sincere sharing of the unit's officers and soldiers with families with meritorious services to the country.

Through the series of activities, it not only contributes to educating revolutionary traditions for cadres and soldiers but also clearly demonstrates a sense of responsibility and deep gratitude for the heroic martyrs.
Continuing the good tradition, officers and soldiers of Coast Guard Region 4 are determined to contribute and fight for the cause of firmly protecting the sovereignty, security and safety of the sea and islands of the Fatherland, spreading the profound human values and values of the Vietnam People's Army.
