At about 10:15 p.m. on September 15, a fire broke out in alley 685 Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Street (HCMC). People discovered smoke and fire coming from the motorbike in their house, so they shouted to put out the fire.
At that time, there was a man in the house. He used water to put out the fire but failed. The fire quickly caught the gas tank, burning more strongly, causing him to suffer burns in his legs. After that, he ran outside to call for help.

Mr. Tran Thanh Vinh - a resident nearby, a witness to the incident - said that when he heard the screams, he immediately brought a fire extinguisher to support. "Luckily, we were able to control the fire in time, otherwise it would be very dangerous," said Mr. Vinh.
The man was taken to the hospital by his family for injury check. About 5 minutes later, firefighters arrived at the scene, deployed to put out the fire, block off the area and cut off the power to ensure safety.

The fire burned down a motorbike and slashed some items in the house. The cause of the incident is being investigated and clarified by the authorities
