The adjustment is carried out on the basis of arranging the organizational structure, establishing new units and changing the functions of some units.
According to the decision, some agencies are adjusted to reduce the number of vehicles due to changes in the organizational model. In which, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism reduced from 9 to 8 vehicles after the Management Board of Ban Gioc Waterfall Tourist Area was handed over to the People's Committee of Dam Thuy commune for management.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment is identified as having a quota of 11 public vehicles, including 1 vehicle of the Center for Agricultural Extension and Agricultural and Forestry Seeds.
The adjustment mainly stems from the process of consolidating the organization and changing the name of the unit.
For non-business units and project management boards, the Provincial Traffic Works Project Management Board reduced 1 vehicle after implementing the arrangement of the apparatus.
Conversely, the Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board was regulated to add 2 vehicles due to the requirements of performing specific tasks. The Provincial Land Fund Development Center - a newly established unit - was also allocated 2 new vehicles according to current standards and norms.
The adjustment of the number of public vehicles is implemented by the Provincial People's Committee based on the provisions of law on management and use of public assets and standards and norms for using cars; and at the same time, it is consistent with the process of arranging the organizational structure of agencies and units in the area.
