According to the policy of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, after the whole country implemented the 2-level local government model, the General Department of Logistics and Engineering proposed purchasing motorbikes to increase mobile vehicles for the grassroots military force.

Each National Military Command of a commune or ward is equipped with 2 vehicles; in Lang Son province, 130 2-wheeled motorbikes are allocated.

This is the type of vehicle chosen by the Ministry of National Defense based on technical characteristics suitable for the characteristics of the area, easy to use, convenient for technical assurance and maintenance. Along with the vehicle, the units are also granted vehicle helmets and the "DQTV" logo is unified.

Colonel Nguyen Van Quyen - Deputy Commander of the Lang Son Provincial Military Command emphasized that agencies and units need to manage and use vehicles in accordance with regulations, ensuring safety, economy and efficiency; the person directly controlling them must meet the requirements according to the regulations of the State and the Ministry of National Defense.

He requested officers and soldiers to consider the issued vehicles as valuable assets of the unit, regularly preserve, maintain, and repair them according to instructions for long-term service.
