Nissan has just announced a 2025 update for the Fairlady Z sports car in Japan. This version brings some notable changes in color and safety features.
In particular, the Midnight Purple paint color, which is associated with the GT-R line, has returned on the Fairlady Z. This change helps the Nissan Fairlady Z attract great attention.
This color also appears on other Nissan models such as the Skyline, Ariya EV, and Note Aura. While it doesn't exactly replicate the GT-R R34's Midnight Purple II shade, it's still a nod to the brand's heritage.
The updated color palette includes 11 shades, with new additions such as: Wangan Blue, Vibrant Red/Super Black, Brilliant White Pearl/Super Black and of course Midnight Purple. The custom version is also upgraded with a split grille, carbon spoiler and sporty details.
In terms of features, Nissan adds a standard SOS call function on all versions. This system allows drivers to contact the operator in an emergency, and automatically shares the vehicle's location when the airbag is activated, helping to increase driver safety.
In terms of engine, the 2025 Fairlady Z still uses a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine with 400 horsepower in the standard version and 414 horsepower in the Nismo variant. The car has a starting price of 5.498 million yen (about 875.3 million VND).
The 2025 Fairlady Z will be limited to just 4,100 units in Japan. Customers will have to enter a lottery to own one.
