Causing anxiety
Previously, on DT725 road through Loc Ngai commune, Bao Lam district (from km 98+600 to km 99+400), there were many shortcomings such as narrow roads, frequent flooding and many dangerous turns.
In response to voters' feedback, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Transport (now the Department of Construction) to inspect and propose a renovation plan.

After that, the Department of Construction was assigned to be the investor, implementing the project to repair the road surface, asphalt concrete and renovate the drainage system. The project is represented by the Road Maintenance Management Board (under the Department of Construction).
The project started on December 9, 2024, constructed by a joint venture of Nguyen Loi Construction - Trading - Service Company Limited and Dong Luong Group Joint Stock Company, with a winning bid value of VND 8.498 billion.
When the project was implemented, local people were very excited. However, the contractor's construction process was very sluggish, causing people to worry.

Actual research shows that there are hundreds of households living on both sides of the road in the construction area. In addition, there are also the headquarters of the People's Committee of Loc Ngai commune, Dinh Tien Hoang Primary School and Sao Mai Kindergarten.
However, the construction unit has not ensured labor safety and environmental sanitation. Dozens of sewers are placed in steep locations, at risk of falling at any time.
In particular, right in front of the gate of Dinh Tien Hoang Primary School, more than 10 sewers were piled up, posing a potential safety risk to students and people.

Mr. Tran Van Duan - Principal of Dinh Tien Hoang Primary School said that these sewers have existed for nearly two months now.
The school has repeatedly reported to the local authorities and the construction unit, but it has not been handled yet. Therefore, the school had to assign teachers to be on duty in front of the school gate during peak hours to instruct students to stay away from dangerous areas.
"We hope the construction unit will soon relocate the sewers to ensure the safety of the students," Mr. Tran Van Duan added.
Impact on people's lives
Irresponsible construction not only poses a potential risk to traffic safety but also pollutes the environment, greatly affecting the lives of many local people.
Mr. Hung Cu, a resident of Loc Ngai commune, shared: "We support the project, even donate land so that the project can be completed soon. However, the construction unit works irresponsibly, such as not watering water to prevent dust, vehicles carrying soil do not cover with tarpaulins, and manholes do not cover, endangering road users".

Similarly, Mr. Dam Van Dan, another resident, was upset: "We are ready to hand over the land to build a road, but the construction unit lacks cooperation. They dig like a deserted place, ignore people's opinions and even challenge and threaten."
On the side of the local government, Mr. Nguyen Duc Cuong - Chairman of the People's Committee of Loc Ngai commune (Bao Lam district) said that the shortcomings in the construction process of this project are very clear. People's opinions and reflections related to the shortcomings and problems of the construction unit are well-founded.
"The commune will invite the construction unit and the people to work to reach an agreement to avoid affecting people's lives and the progress of the project," affirmed Mr. Nguyen Duc Cuong - Chairman of Loc Ngai Commune People's Committee.
