According to the Department of Finance of Ca Mau province, in Bac Lieu, Vinh Trach, Hiep Thanh wards (under the old Bac Lieu province), there are currently 91 surplus real estate facilities that need to be handled after the rearrangement.
Of these, 11 real estate facilities have been arranged and assigned to agencies and units; the remaining 80 real estate facilities are in the process of reviewing, arranging and handling. Notably, some of these surplus real estate facilities are vacant and degraded, with no specific arrangement and exploitation plans...

To avoid waste, the Department of Finance of Ca Mau proposes specific plans to arrange and handle public assets such as surplus real estate as follows:
Of the 80 real estate facility categories, there are 52 categories in Bac Lieu ward (38 categories are managed by the province; 14 categories are managed by Bac Lieu ward); 8 categories are in Vinh Trach ward (4 categories are managed by the province; 4 categories are managed by Vinh Trach ward) and 11 categories are in Hiep Thanh ward (managed by Hiep Thanh ward).

The Department of Finance proposed that the Provincial People's Committee assign 60 lists of surplus real estate facilities to the Provincial Land Fund Development Center for exploitation for auction or investment calling. Of which, there are 52 real estate facilities in Bac Lieu ward (38 lists managed by the province; 14 lists managed by Bac Lieu ward); 8 real estate facilities in Vinh Trach ward (4 lists managed by the province; 4 lists managed by Vinh Trach ward).

Propose that the Provincial People's Committee assign 20 lists of surplus real estate facilities to localities for management and use (due to local needs for use, propose to keep). Of which, Bac Lieu ward has 6 real estate facility lists (there are 2 lists under provincial management); Vinh Trach ward has 3 real estate facility lists; Hiep Thanh ward has 11 real estate facility lists.

Time to organize the implementation of status inspection, handover and receipt of real estate facilities; develop and adjust the plan to rearrange and handle real estate of agencies, organizations and units under management to send to the Department of Finance for consideration, synthesis, and submission to the Provincial People's Committee for approval of the arrangement and completion plan in December 2025.
The People's Committees of Bac Lieu, Vinh Trach, and Hiep Thanh wards preside over and coordinate with the Department of Agriculture and Environment and the Department of Construction to review, supplement, and adjust land use planning and construction planning for the above-mentioned real estate facilities in accordance with the socio-economic development orientation and approved handling plan. The completion time is no later than the second quarter of 2026.
The time for selling and exploiting public assets and calling for investment is implemented by the Provincial Land Fund Development Center, to be completed in 2026 - 2027.
